     Who We Are:   

  The Entropia Pathfinder's Academy consists of a core group of dedicated veteran colonists who wish to assist any new colonists who possess the strength of will to survive and even succeed in the most hostile environment in the Universe.  

Our Academy is different from other societies in the Entropia Universe in that our Students and  Alumni span the ranks of many official societies throughout Calypso.  Although it is easier to be in the same society as your mentor it is not required by Academy Rules.  There is no official society for the Pathfinders.  

We conduct training while in team.  The focus of the Pathfinder's is to become proficient in  team tactics and develop solid relationships in the Entropia Universe.

You are free to choose any society in the Entropia Universe to join and are free to change your mind at any time.

Why you need us:     

Now that you have joined the Entropia Universe, you have begun a great journey.  This is a journey fraught with  perils and rewards.  You must choose your Path wisely or you will find yourself destitute and alone.  You have been abandoned by the imperial government, left to fend for yourself.  Calypso is a dangerous place filled with deadly creatures and treacherous conmen.  You must be careful who you trust for here you are the prey.

     The Pathfinders all travel a narrow Path which guides them toward riches and rewards, with a minimum of financial investment. We are constantly seeking new ways to maximize our returns.  IF you choose to follow the Path with us we will show you how you too can survive and flourish in this hostile environment. 

Make no mistake. The Path is not an easy one. It requires dedication, discipline and commitment.

very real and I will always treat other members of the community with the utmost respect and do my best to help others to succeed even as I work toward achieving my own goals"

 

     Each and every member of the Academy and all  of its allies are here to walk The Path with you.

We use training, tactics and trust to help each other to thrive in EU.  

Each techniques is carefully researched and proven by faculty and students. 

Information is carefully researched for accuracy before it is passed on to its members as fact by its faculty or through the forums.

 

How we do it:  

As a new student you will enter into a Mentor/ Disciple relationship with one of the Faculty of the Academy.  

They will give you assignments to complete.  Some will be Missions you will have to accomplish in game. 

 Others will be research projects designed to familiarize you with the wealth of information available out there and help you interpret it.  

     

     As you complete these assignments you will receive Mission Rewards in the form of money or equipment which will help increase your avatars survivability.  Each assignment is carefully researched and designed to challenge you as an individual, a member of, and a leader of a team.  During these missions  you will gather resources which will add to your avatars worth and bring strength to The Academy.

 

 

As you complete these missions, you will spend time in discussion with your mentor to help clarify the purpose and learning objectives of each mission. 

Over time you will gain Skill, Wealth and Equipment and learn how to maximize your PED balance.  

 

There are different levels of intensity for training based on your stated goals and financial capability.

 Together with your Mentor, you will decide what level of commitment you wish to make towards your training and game play.  

These challenges will push your Avatars abilities, challenge you mentally.

They may even overwhelm you  to a point of frustration.  

The missions will not be easy, but they will reward you with wealth and knowledge.

 We welcome your interest in the Entropia Pathfinder’s Academy. Below is an outline of the requirements for acceptance into the Pathfinder's Academy.

 We have developed this website to fill a void in the Entropia universe tutorial system. 

IF you wish to be permanently accepted as a member of The Pathfinder Team and a student in The Entropia Pathfinder's Academy, then we have a few minor tasks for you to accomplish to prove your Metal.

 

  1. Read the REQUIREMENTS to complete the Pledge Phase of your training.

  2. Send an Email to DragonEy@dragoneygaming explaining you agree to abide by the ACADEMY CODE OF CONDUCT and wish to be formally accepted into The Entropia Pathfinder's Academy.

  3. Then Stop Reading all this boring crap and

GET ON WITH IT!

 

 

     Important Note:  There will be many times you will be asked to Pay a fee or Turn in an item to complete a mission. 

  1. You are under no obligation to do so.  Paying fees is optional. 

  2. We carefully designed all mission completion requirements to benefit both you and The Academy.  

  3. The Fees you pay go directly to offsetting the financial burden running The Academy  places on our faculty.  

  4. As faculty members, we are often asked to donate time and money to better The Academy and assist our students, and the fees you pay go directly to offset these costs.  

  5. Failure to pay fees will not result in any adverse treatment or result in non promotion or dismissal from the society.  

  6. You must freely choose to comply with these requirements IF & ONLY IF you feel you are receiving VALUE form your training.
